After breakfast, travel to Punakha with a stop at the impressive Buddha Dordenma statue. At Dochula Pass, admire the 108 memorial chortens honoring Bhutan’s historic victory. Optional short hikes are available en route. Visit Chhimi Lhakhang, a temple famed for blessings related to fertility.

Begin with a short hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, a unique architectural marvel.
